This is a random post.
I was watching AYG 2009 with my sister and we realised that lane 8 of the Sports School swimming pool is cursed, practically no one ever won once in that lane. At least for today’s session. Also, Singapore’s most hopeful medalist (I’m talking about 2012 London Olympics) Quah Tingwen totally has that “I a/m from RI(JC)” face. She resembles Jacq to the max, whom too happens to be from RI(JC).
This is just my 2 cents worth. Of cos I am cheering on for Singapore, even though I see South Korea bagging most of the medals all the time. You know I am so gonna complain to my buddy and ask her why are they so great at everything. Stop telling me cos they have a bigger talent pool! I know you must be secretly thinking, what the crap Stella, talk so much, you go participate lah. Yah lor, I wish I could but sadly, it’s too late! A pity I didn’t continue swimming right. HAHAHAHA joke, even if I really did continue swimming I wouldn’t be as great as the athetes are. You know me, quite a useless person. I can’t do anything well, freak that for whatever’s sake.
I secretly do wish I had a talent in anything, including studying. If only I’ve gotten the 10 odd points more for PSLE, I would be able to get into RGS and not do bloody GCE ‘O’ level now. Even if it were only 1 point more, I wouldn’t have cried. Then screw me for being forced to drop swimming for studies, then resumed and later dropped again for nonsencial reasons. In short, if you’re reading this, you have a very inaccomplished friend.
